Analytics & cookies: technical data via Google Analytics (approximate location, device/browser, pages visited). You can disable cookies in your browser. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Why we collect it

To respond to inquiries and provide quotes, communicate about your project, deliver and manage our services, maintain project records, operate and improve our website, send project notifications (future), and meet legal obligations. We collect only what a reasonable person would consider appropriate, and obtain consent where required.

Consent

By submitting information through our contact form or client portal, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure described here. You may withdraw consent at any time (subject to legal or contractual limits) by contacting us; this may limit our ability to provide certain services.

Storage & protection

We use reasonable physical, technical, and organizational safeguards — restricted access, reputable providers, and encryption in transit where appropriate. No internet transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Third-party providers

We use Cloudflare (hosting/CDN), Google Analytics (usage analytics), and a future email provider (notifications). These may process limited personal information on our behalf and may store data outside Canada, including the United States, subject to local laws. We do not sell your personal information.

Data residency & retention

We aim to keep personal information in Canada where practical; some providers operate globally. We retain information only as long as necessary or as required by law — contact submissions for [X months] unless part of an active project; project and payment records for [X years] after completion; analytics for [X months] — then securely delete or anonymize it.

Your rights

Under PIPEDA and BC PIPA you may access, correct, or request deletion of your information, and withdraw consent, subject to legal limits.
